I didn’t stay very long at the Hippie Pot-Smoking-Paradise RV park. Within a couple of months, I was on my way. The last foray I made before leaving was on a road called Buzzard Divide. It goes up Buzzard Creek up over a divide that you might say is “behind” the Grand Mesa - east of it, and a little bit lower in elevation. What a beautiful place.
This is National Forest land. Full of wildflowers; here are a few close-ups.
