Hi Ken, reading about Pookie brought back memories of when you and she came to visit Dave and I. I believe our cat, Tom Servo, was eventually able to make friends with her, as she allowed him to enter your motor home without an altercation.
I had forgotten about that, but yes, she did tolerate him. Indeed, one time he was hanging out with his tail hanging down into the walkway. She walked up and gave his tail a playful bat with her paw, and he turned around ready to play.
For a part of a second, I thought that she had decided to accept him. Nope. As soon as he whipped around to play, she growled at him.
Like kids with toys. The box it comes in is more phone.

Servo is still with you, isn't he?
Great piece. Isn't it nice to be old and have plenty of time to appreciate your cat?
Well, she’s deceased but I have lots of photos of her. She will be in some of my Substack posts for years to come.
Oh yes, Servo is still with us. He’s 12 years old now. He does more sleeping than when he was younger but can still cause a bit of mischief.
A sweet puppy cat.
Thank you for your post.
